Barbria Gets Married
What the hell is going on?

After my initial shock of that whole fired fiasco I had to get back to my reason for calling my girl to begin with. I received an e-mail from my oldest and closest friend asking me what I thought of her Wedding Pictures. Now folks if you think I went off about the firing deal, just imagine my amazement, my hurt, my "what the hell is going on here" kinda face I had after seeing this.

My dearest friend has tied the knot in a private ceremony, so private that not even her best friend nor family members were invited. All our lives our pact has been that she would be my maid of honor and God mother to my children and vice versa. I kept my end of the deal, so imagine my hurt. My girl is sporting a rock the size of Gibraltar and I was not there to witness this. Has my girl done me wrong? Could it be that we have grown apart? I didn't even know she was serious about anyone much less marriage kind of serious. So, what's up with that?

TD: What the hell are these pictures, who the hell is this guy and who is that bitch standing in my place where I should rightfully be??? Explain dammit!!!

BD: My goodness honey, calm down. I was shooting a video, I'm releasing my song "I Do", Didn't you find it strange that my own mother wasn't there?

TD: I thought that was a little funny. I was looking for your mother or your sisters but my thought was, you had either lost your mind and eloped. Or your family was blinded by the size of that diamond and they were in a washroom somewhere trying to repair their retinas.

BD: Yea, it is pretty "bling, bling."

TD: Tell me you're not still wearing it.

BD: I am, it's beautiful and it's taken on a whole new meaning. The band I wear symbolizes that I am married to my music and am very dedicated to it. It also keeps me out of a lot of trouble. Call it my Jerk repellant. They take one look at the size of the ring and they leave.

TD: Oh, you are too funny. Aren't you afraid you'll scare off any potential gentlemen callers? They're still some guys out there who respect the sanctity of marriage.

BD: Well, the one thing that I've found is that guys still try talking too me, however, they are a little more respectful. Eventually I'll take it off or everyone will read this interview and know what the deal is.

TD: So you didn't actually go out and buy all that stuff did you?

BD: No, I've started the "I Do" Network which is comprised of wedding vendors in the area that donated there services in return for promotion along with the CD release.

TD: So, say if I wanted the exact same dress you were wearing, I could get it?

BD: Yea, you would just go to the "I do" Network page on my site and contact Wedding Angels who supplied the dress or After Hours who supplied the Tommy Hilfiger Tuxedo's, Love Limousines, Dream Bridal, I Do videos, I Do live.com, Maurice Room salon, Sherrill Pair Makeup, Lutheran Church of the Apostles, Michael's arts and crafts, or Taboo Bistro and Bar. Had to mention them all.

TD: Very good, how cool. So you actually could have gotten married for free?

BD: Yea, cool huh?

TD: So when will the video be ready?

BD: Well, the video is in editing and the CD's are at the manufacturer. Hopefully soon, I'm loosing valuable time. We're in prime wedding season now. So I'm trying to be patient. However, that is easier said than done. I would like for everything to be done before I go oversees.

TD: I'm sure it will be. You work so damn fast it's a little ridiculous.

Well, folks there you have it. Barbria is not married to a man but to her music, and I must say it's a perfect match. This girl is so focused and determined, she deserves every piece of good luck she gets.

Take a look at some of the pictures from the video shoot.
