Barbria DeÁnne is a dynamic vocalist, songwriter, and author whose artistry bridges soul, jazz, and storytelling. A natural-born entertainer, she began performing at age three as part of The Haynes Sisters and went on to build a powerful solo career rooted in musical legacy and timeless expression.
Her family’s deep ties to music run generations strong — her mother, Barbara Grant-Haynes, was produced by Sam Cooke on his SAR Records label, and her cousins include Marshall Thompson of The Chi-Lites and Tony Haynes, Grammy-winning songwriter and poet.
Barbria has shared the stage with icons such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Ray Charles, Dorothy Donegan, Karen Briggs, Enchantment, Mike Phillips, and the late Bernie Mac, captivating audiences with her soulful presence and commanding voice.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Music Entertainment Management, she is also the CEO of Barbi-Tone Entertainment and a published author of The Story Beyond My Song, Baby Takes the Stage, and Landscape of Lies, with an upcoming trilogy and The Story Beyond My Mother’s Song in development.
Her latest single, “If I Could Write a Letter to Heaven,” continues to inspire listeners around the world.
